Show Sewing Exhibits Feature of Fair Sewing exhibits, that will include articles designed from ''baby to grandmother", will be an outstanding out-standing feature of the Cache county fair's homemaking depart- ment, August 24,-26, Miss .Amy Yearsley, county home demonstration demonstra-tion agent, reported today. The baby department under su pervision of Mrs. Julia Muir, Mendon, Men-don, and Mrs. Donna Scott, will have premiums for dresses, rompers, rom-pers, bonnets, knitted or crocheted crochet-ed or novelty shawls, bootees or shoes, hand-trimmed baby basinett, best dressed doll in doll clothes, and best dressed doll in baby clothes. All women over 65 are Invited to exhibit quilts, afghans or rugs, according to Mrs. L. J. Petty, Amalga, and Mrs. Lillain Ken-drick, Ken-drick, Providence, supervisors of 4; this department. Entries will be classed as follows: fol-lows: quilts, pieced cotton, pieced silk, appliqued; needlework, knitted, knit-ted, pieced; rugs, braided, hooked, hook-ed, novelty. A grand prize will be awarded to the oldest lady exhibiting in this department, Miss Kcarsley said. Entries for all homemaking departments de-partments must be at the fair building- Tuesday, August 22 by 9 a. m she announced. , |
