Show ' USAC Alumni ! Names Secretary H. Parley Kiiburn, instructor of sociol sciences at Weber college in Ogden, will assume duties Monday Mon-day as secretary of the Utah State Agricultural college Alumni association, according to A. Russell Croft, Ogden, association president. Mr. Kiiburn replaces Leonard W. McDonald, who resigned in May to become editor of the Utah Farmer. Far-mer. Since Mr. McDonald's resignation resig-nation the position has been occupied oc-cupied temporarily by Mrs. Marjor-ie Marjor-ie Anderson Henderson of Logan. Mr. Kiiburn won his bachelor's degree from USAC in 1931 and his master's degree in 1933. He studied subsequently at the University Uni-versity of Michigan. Columbia University and Stanford university, universi-ty, where he now is a candidate for a degree of doctorate in education. educa-tion. The new alumni secretary has been associated with Weber college col-lege since 1942. He previously taught at Snow college in Eph-raim, Eph-raim, in the Logan city schols, and in the Davis, Morgan, and Weber county school systems. He served as visiting instructor of sociology at USAC in 1943 and taught a tnumjber of , extension courses for the college in Ogden and Ephraim. He is past vice president pre-sident of . the Utah Educational association. |
