Show BE CAREFUL AND PATRIOTIC Because home accidents that killed 6,000 workers last year seriously se-riously impended the war effort, the Federal Security agency endorses en-dorses safety suggestions. Walk, Don't Run, especially on stairways. Don't carry heavy loads on stairways; stair-ways; don't let children play on Unprotected stairways; don't let floors become slippery or cluttered; clutter-ed; never leave soap in bathtub and use non-skid mat to prevent slipping, keep utensil handles turned turn-ed away from edge of stove; never nev-er touch an electric fixture and a grounded metal object at the same time; disconnect electrical appliances appli-ances when not in use; don't smoke in bed; keep pillows out of babies beds, keep pins, needles and sharp tools away from children, child-ren, keep garage doors open when starting car, and use short ladders instead of stools, chairs, or boxes in reaching for high places. |
