Show Ogden Livestock Show Planned Mythical honors for first listing of enU'ies in the Ogden Livestock Show, November 4 to 8 inclusive, this year went to Robert O'Neil, Jackson, Wyo., livestock operator, whose carload of feeder steers were listed this week. Next under the wire was El-wood El-wood Williams of Ogden, who made space reservations for two carloads of fat heifers and one carload of fat steers. Early listing of entries, the earliest so far present records reveal .indicates some fine feeder feed-er stock will be offereH at the show. E. J. Fjeldsted, secretary-man-1 ager of the show, said both entries en-tries were filed unusually early for the show and, "these "predict a splendid selection of display of feeder and fat cattle for western buyers." Mr. O'Neil is well known among Intcrmountain stock growers for the larget "spreads" of cattle run on his range and also the high quality of these animals. Meanwhile, officials of the exposition, ex-position, announced their selection selec-tion of personnel of the special sifting committee and the roster of judges. The sifting committee will elim- mate all animals and carlots not up to standard and settle all disputes dis-putes relative to classification and will be comprised of the following well known' stock experts: George Henderson, Utah State Agricultural Agricultur-al college; Bert Robbins, Ogden Livestock Auction ' company, and George Hachten, head buyer with Wilson and company, Los Angeles, Ang-eles, California. Judges for the show will be Jimmy McClelland, manager Turner Tur-ner Ranch, Sulphur, Oklahoma, to judge purebred Herefords and breeding beef cattle in the junior jun-ior division. C. W. Hickman, University of Idaho, to judge Shorthorns, individual indi-vidual and carlot fat lambs. Herman Oliver, Bend, Oregon, C. E. Hickman and Emil Rezac, Hereford breeder of Tabor, South Dakota, judges of carlot feeder cattle. Emil Rezac, D. E. Richards, superintendent of the experiment station at Union, Oregon, and Jimmy McClelland will judge registered re-gistered breeding bulls and heif. ers. Alex McDonald will judge Ab- ciuaujiugiB, junior individual fat steers in the junior and open classes. - D. E. Richards will judge car-lots car-lots of fat hogs and individual fat hogs in the junior and open divisions. J. D.
