Mrs. Fern Smith entertained at a dinner parly at her home on New Year's day. Those included were Mr. and Mrs. George Smith of Downey, Idaho; Cliff Kangas of .Michigan; S. P. N-ilson, and Mr. and Mrs. Hazen Hillyard and family. After dinner the time was spent in music and visiting. Mrs Richard Richardson spent the week at McCammon, Idaho, visiting with her parents,. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Vaughn and family. Cliylon Kearl is visiting at Salt Lake City at the home of Mr. and Mrs. All:in Ore-hard for two vtcks. Mr. and Mrs. W. I!. Funk at Los Angeles, California, for a month. ' Miss Lena Smith is at the St-Mar'ts St-Mar'ts hospital at Salt Lake City where she underwent a major operation op-eration on Tuesday. Mryor Glenn R. Winn and ' -liter Barbara attended a wed-( wed-( ing reception at the Cowles home ' n Friday at Salt Lake City, in honor of Mrs. Ray Hawkins. The Willow Valley camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers will be held Wednesday, January 21, ' at 2:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs.1 Thomas H. Wolford. A. good at-1 tendance is desired- I The family of Mrs. May Chambers Cham-bers entertained at a no-host party on Friday in honor of the birthday birth-day anniversary of Mrs. Morris Hansen a her home. A variety of games were played and Mrs. Hansen received many beautiful gifts. Luncheon was served to 16. The Just-A-Mere club met at, the home of Mrs. Kernel Tool-son Tool-son on Friday afternoon. Special, guests Included Mrs. Glenn R. Winn, Mrs. Adrain V. Toolson, I Mrs. W. A- Noble and Mrs. Cyril Munk. High score prize was won by Mrs Ronald Pitcher and low prize Mrs. Bert Thornley. Luncheon Lunch-eon was served by the hostess to 12 ladies. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Johnson of Nibley entertained on Saturday evening A delicious supper was served at' 8 p.m. The invited guests were Mr. and Mrs- Frank1 Tidwell and daughters Barbara and Eunice; Mrs. Jane M. The Book-Lurree literary club met Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Glen Tout. The program was given by Mrs Kieth Hurren. 'Mrs. Hebe Whiting gave a review re-view of the book, "East Wind, West Wind." 12 club members were present. A buffett luncheon was served by the hostess. Miss Millicent Daines of Ogden assisted assist-ed in serving. The birthday club entertained at a no-host luncheon on Friday afternoon in honor of the birthday birth-day anniversary of Mrs. George Winn at her home. The afternoon was spent in sewing and bridge Ten ladies were included. Mrs. Winn was presented with a gift. Mrs. Oliver Nilson was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Helen P. Toolson and Miss Helen Toolson spent the week at Salt Lake City. While there they attended the wedding reception of Mrs. Ray Hawkins, formerly Miss Etta Lou Cowles, on Friday evening even-ing at the Cowles home. i Mrs. Charles Lundquist entertained enter-tained Wednesday afternoon ..at her home. Those included were: Mrs. Bert Reese, Mrs. Grant Webb, Mrs. Wilford Parson, Mrs. Donald Jackson and Mrs. Glen Tout. The afternoon was spent in playing bridge and sewing.
