Show SERVICES HELD FOR GEORGE DONE Impressive f u n e ral services were conducted on Tuesday in the First ward chapel for George Done, veteran temple officiator wlho died at his home in Logan. Bishop G. L. Rees presided. Music for the services was furnished fur-nished by the ward choir directed by Mrs. S. L. Hymas with Mrs. M. T. Van ' Orden at the organ. Special music - included a vocal solo, "The Evening Song", by Mrs. Edsel Tsirbet; vocal solo, "Only "On-ly Remembered by What You Have Done," Frank H. Baugh and a vocal solo' '"In the Garden of Tomorrow," 'by Mrs. Eugenia Lun-dquist. Lun-dquist. Speakers who eulogized the fine character of Mr. Done were Joseph Jo-seph Daines, Walter Fuhriman, and A. E. Cranney of the Logan temple staff; Hazen W. Hillyard and Bishop G. L. Rees. Invocation was offered by Alfred Al-fred Ainscough and the benediction benedic-tion by Bishop George Nelson. Mr. Done was born September 5, 1868 in Smithfield, a son of George Sr., and Alice Smith Done. His wife, the former Clara Raymond, Ray-mond, died about 20 years ago. He had been an active church worker in Smithfield, having served as a member of the old Smithfield ward bishopric several years and in numerous other positions. He moved to Logan two years ago. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: William A. Done of Glendale, California; Frank Done of Santa Barbara, California, Vernon Done of Logan and Mrs. R. L. Nelson of Smithfield; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one brother and two sisters, William Done, Mrs. William Wil-liam Mather and Mrs. William Coleman of Smithfield. Interment was in the Smithfield cemetery where the grave was dedicated by Bishop George Raymond. Ray-mond. Arrangements were made by the Lindquist and Sons mortuary mor-tuary of Logan. |
