The B-17 Flying Fortress navigator is a member of the 1 493rd bombing group, commanded j by Colonel Robert B. Landry, of New Orleans, La. Lieutenant Litz was graduated from the North Cache high school at Richmond and attended Utah State Agricul-i Agricul-i tural college at Logan before en. tering the AAF in July, 1943. He was trained in navigation at Eel-man Eel-man Field, La., where he received ! his wings in September, 1944. His wife, Mrs. Thelma H. Litz, lives at 256 North Grape Street, Mon-tebello, Mon-tebello, California. |
