Tom Hill, Jack Edger and Jack Johnson, engineers on the Union Pacific, Pa-cific, have been given life pensions and have been taken from the service. Selden Harris, of Wapeto-, "Washington, "Wash-ington, who was called to Beaver last week on account of the death ol his mother, Mrs. Celestia W. Harris, was the gueat of his Bister, Mrs. Ru sel Parsons Sunday. Mr. Harris returned re-turned to his home Sunday night. Mr and Mrs. J. Jeffers left Similar Sim-ilar for Sal't Lake City, to- attend the reception given at the Utah hotel, in honor of Senator Reed, Smoot. Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Mobius, Of Frisco, Fris-co, were the Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ephriam Smith. Mrs Owen Smith and children arrived ar-rived here from Texas Friday afternoon after-noon of last week to Join their husband hus-band and father, Mr. Owon Smith. Mrs. James Lang, of Beavor, is ?pendin a few days here.
