S Proposing to Amend 8ectlen 9, of Artlole VI, of tie Constitution of Utah, Relating to Compensation Compen-sation of the Member ef the Legislature A joint resolution proposing aa amendment to Section t, ef Article Yl, of the Constitution at the Stat of Utah relating te coBXpenaatlea of the members of the legislature. Be it enacted by the Legislature ef the State of Utah, two-thirds at the members elected to each of the two houses concurring therein : Section 1. It is proposed to amend Section 9, Article TI, ef the constitution constitu-tion of the State of Utah se that the same will read as follows: Sec. 6. The members of the legislature legis-lature shall receive such per diem and mileage as the legislature may provide, pro-vide, not exceeding eight dollars per day, and ten cents per mile for the distance necessarily traveled going to and returning from the place of Meeting Meet-ing on the msst usual rout, and they shall receive no other pay or perquisite. per-quisite. Sec. 2. The secretary of state 1 hereby directed to submit this proposed propos-ed amendment to the electors of the stats at the next general election in the manner provided by law. Sec. 3.
