Show SOUTHERN UTAH MARKETING ASSN IN PAROWAN Optimism, having faith, confidence confi-dence and progress were the five outstanding out-standing features of the meeting of the Southern Marketing Association, a Parowan last Friday, when the report re-port o fTimothy Brownhill, chairman chair-man of the temporary executive committee com-mittee was adopted, the organization organiza-tion perfected and the permanent officers of-ficers elected for the ensuing year. Mr. Timothy Brownhill, promotei of the organization, was elected an honorary member oHthe association and was also elected as an honorary member of the board of directors. Murdoek, David Dav-id Herschl and others to instruct the executive committee to adopt section three of Mr. Brownhill's revised report re-port as submitted by him Distinguished Visitors Present After the introduction of Senator William H. King, ex-Congressman M. Welling, Mr. V. S. Peete, agricultural agent for the Union Pacific system, and other distinguished visitors, a recess was declared for lunch until 2:30 p. m., at which time the visitors visi-tors mentioned were invited to address ad-dress the delegates, pending the completion com-pletion of the work of the executive committee. Lunch at Pnrowan's Expense During recess a splendid dinner was served to the guests at Paro-wan's Paro-wan's excellent hotels and cafes, at Ihe expe..nse of the Parowan Commercial Com-mercial Club. : |
