Show REPUBLICAN CONVENTION CON-VENTION HELD IN BEAVER CITY The Republican county convention was called to order in Beaver Monday Mon-day morning, with fifty delegates present. Frisco and Greenville were not represented. County Chairman George Jefferson Jeffer-son presided, and Stan Tattersal! acted as secretary. Committees on Precinct organization, organiza-tion, Credentials and Platform were appointed at the morning session. The convention re-convened at 2 p. m., and after listening to the ( mittee reports, the body got down to business. First came the choosing of eight delegates to the Senatorial convention, conven-tion, which was to meet In Cedar City the following day. W J. Robinson, Rob-inson, George Cockett, Geo. Low, D. R. McKnight, Frank WilliamB ana C. T. Woodbury were chosen. H. ,T. Hanks was the unanimous choice of the convention for the office of representative. The balance of the ticket was made up as follows County Commissioners C. F. Harris, four year term. IT. C. Eyre, two year term. Clerk Dewey Bakes. Sheriff C. K. Jameson Treasurer Geo. Skinner Assessor Jas Rollins Recorder Mary Dunshee County Attorney C. T. Woodbury Surveyor Arch Fotherlngham. Geo. Jefferson and Stan Tatlersalt were elected County chairman ans secretary. The new county committee will bo composed as follows: J. L. Griffiths. Fred Gunn, D. R. McKnight. C. F Harris. Cy Davts, Sam Littlefield. John Horton, Wm. Morris, C. T. Martin, A. D. McAuley. |
