August 3 nth. liishop McMillian of Salt Lake performed per-formed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Farmer have been spending their honeymoon at the Lake, returning here Sunday morning morn-ing to make their home. Both are fine young people and their many friends and acquaintances will be glad that they are going to live in Milford. Miss Arvilla Clements went to Salt Lake Friday of last week to be operated op-erated on at the Holy Cross hospital for appendicitis. Mrs. C. T. Martin and sons left on Thursday of last week for Salt Lakf City, where she will spend a week visiting relatives and friends Harry Larson is at Modena installing instal-ling a gas and oil station. Harry Larson returned Saturday from a trip to Salt Lake. Mrs. Larson Lar-son will remain a few days longer visiting vis-iting relatives. The Misses Lillian and Maxine Har ris, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Harris, of Beaver, are here visiting their aunt. Mrs. Russell Parsons. Barbara and Margaret Fotheringham Fothering-ham are spending their vacation at Salt Lake, visiting friends and relatives. rela-tives. Dr. D. W. Gibson of Beaver was in town Friday of last week loading a carloacT of honey to be shipped to Og-den. Og-den. Mrs. Kaminski andi sons are moving mov-ing into town from their ranch at Ma-lone, Ma-lone, so that the boys may enter the schools here. Mr. Jacob Fauth left Monday for California, where he will undergo ar operation at the Loma Linda sanitarium, sanitar-ium, near San Bernardino. Mrs. -Joseph Bakes of Beaver, is spending a few days with her sisters, Mrs. Scott Tanner and Mrs. N. C. Schow "Mrs Roy McGinty and little daughter dau-ghter returned Saturday to her home in Minersville, after a visit of two weeks in Milford. Mr. A O Hardy went to the Telluride Tellu-ride power plant in the Beaver canyon can-yon to help repair the generator. He returned home Tuesday. Mrs. Jane Moore left Monday evening ev-ening to spend the winter with her daughter, Mrs. K. Snyder, near Vernal, Ver-nal, in the Uinta Basin. A D Moffat of Salt Lake City, manager man-ager of the Majestic mine, spent several sev-eral 'days here last week returning home Sunday. John Geiger of Frisco, spent Saturday Satur-day and Sunday in town. Mr. Geiger is bookkeeper at the Horn Silver mine. E. C. Blanpied; and family motored to Beaver Labor day and enjoyed a lunch in the canyon. They spent the afternoon at the home of Dr. and M-J. M-J. F. McGregor. Timothy Brownhill. editor of the Beaver Press and Mrs Brownhill spent the evening here with Mr. and Mrs. Karl S. Carlton. Mrs. Jolly of St. George came Saturday Sat-urday to take care of her daughter's family, while Mrs. Tomsik is with her little son at the hospital in Salt Lake. Miss Ardath Johnson left Thursday Thurs-day to spend a few weeks at Salt Lake City. She will also visit her sister sis-ter in Ogden. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mastros Thursday morning. September Sth. a fine baby boy. Mother and little one are getting along nicely. Mr. and Mrs Dennis White and family of Beaver spent Labor day here as the guests of Mrs. White's sisters. Mrs. Oscar Larson and Mrs. Charles Hollis. They brought with them their sister. Mrs. Telka Robinson, Robin-son, who left on the morning train for Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sherwood and family and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Korns and little daughter, spent Labor day at the Minersville dam All report a pleasant time. |
