Show AMERICA FIRST Occasionally we still hear from the internationalists the old charge that those who put American interests first and cannot see the advisability of changing our time-honored foreign policy, are isolationists, and are attempting at-tempting to build a stone wall around America to keep this country separate separ-ate from the rest of humanity. Of course the charge is absurd. Nobody believes that because we are separat- J ed from Europe and Asia by two great oceans that we ought to have no communication and no . friendly j relations with the people of these two continents. What the great body of American people, regardless of party politics, does demand is that we make no committments that might involve us in future European wars, and no committments which will place the interests of Europe above those of America. |
