There were In all Christendom, Chris-tendom, on July 80, 1919, approximately approximate-ly 7,884,000 automobiles, and 6,500,-000 6,500,-000 were In the United States, according accord-ing to a survey by the Alexander Hamilton Ham-ilton Institute of New York. We have, therefore, nearly Ave times as many automobiles as all other countries combined. The 1,384,000 automobiles not in the United States when the survey sur-vey was made, last July, were distributed dis-tributed as follows: Great Britain, 415,000; Canada, 300,000; France, 200,000; Germany, 75,000; Italy, 35,-000; 35,-000; Argentina, 35,000; the Netherlands, Nether-lands, 20,000; Russia, 15,000; Japan, 3,000; all other countries, 321,000. |
