A heavy wind, coming on the heels of a hard rain, struck National City, near San Diego late Monday night and wrecked several sever-al houses. Two women and a man, Injured in the collapse of one home, were taken to the hospital. All will recover, the doctors said: The storm left the city in darkness. Precipitation in the mountains was especially heavy being ten inches at Opid's Camp and 11.17 in the Santa Anita Canyon.
