James Braithwaite of Manti, appeared ap-peared on our streets yesterday. C. R. Wells of Salt Lake was here Wednesday. Earl Yearsley, E. Huff and Ed Heines of .Ogden, registered at the Atkin Hotel Wednesday. A party consisting of Elmer Mc-Neely, Mc-Neely, John Ballard and M. R. Ball- I ard, were here from Corinne, Utah, Thursday. ! C. Carlton made his weekly . trip to Milford Tuesday. M. L. Crandall, jr., of Salt Lake, a prominent engineer, was here a few days, doing some work for W. D. Pitts.. Hattie Whornham made her library inspection this past week. Jas. E. Goff, George Horton, Jess Applegate and G. A. Barton, all of Panguitch, were with us Monday and Tuesday. j Miss Reva Lynn of Beaver, is in Milford this week. Miss Eva Bowman is the new librarian. A large crowd of Milford people went to Beaver to attend the Ameri- can Legion dance. All report a splendid splen-did time. Mrs. Charles Wolfs of Pocatello, Idaho, was called .to Milford on account ac-count of the sudden death of her sister Mrs. Ray Stancliff. A. F. Mercier the oil geologist from Co'orado, is in Milford this week looking into our oil problems as he is extremely interested in the conditions existing in Milford. V. H. Dillehunt returned home Thursday morning from Salt Lake. Major Schof of the Canadian Mounted Police is in Milford this week and .is an interesting character. Major Schof has been in the service of the Mounted Police for over 37 years, has traveled extensively in south Africa and Canada. His collection col-lection of Lion skins, polar bear hides and trophies from the world war j have proven very interesting to the people of Milford. H. Van den Noven and wife of Salt Lake City were in Milford several lij.ys this week. George Krienke of Los Angeles is here again. S. V. McClement was in Milford iJvrday. IC. M.
