Show ! NADA NOTES Mr. Dee Wix and wife have returned return-ed from Milford, to take up the duties dut-ies on his ranch. He spent the winter win-ter in Milford and Mrs. Wix traveled in California. Mr. Oscar Stephenson and Ray Mc Gcnty spent Sunday in Milford on business. Mr. and Mrs, James A. Baker entertained en-tertained with a delightful card party at their home last Wednesday evening. even-ing. 500 and Pedro were the games for the evening. Mr. J. A. Baker and Raymond McGinty were the winners. Mr. J .P. Stephenson and A. Brun-field Brun-field have come from the East to visit Oscar Stephenson. He expects to return home soon. Joe Warren Is leaving the valley on his way to the Shearing corrall. J The section crew is getting up a ! base ball team. They expect to play ; considerable hall this summer, as we have a large assortment to pick from j Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Lewis were j visiting friends in the valley. Mr. Dewey McGinty called on Mr. Leo McGuIro and 0. Stephenson. Mr. Vernon C. Johnson is putting in his crops for the summer. The Xada school will soon close for the summer. The teacher, Mrs. J. E. Rambler, said the scholars an progressing very nicely. Mr. Ed White has completed his well. He said he is well pleased and hopes he will soon be able to Install , his new pump. He also purchased !a tractor and will do farming on a ! large scale. |
