Show COLLEGE WILL ' HAVE ANNUAL Cedar City Students are Preparing a College lSook-I.ecture Course Dr. McFarlane, a competent physician phy-sician and respected resident of Ce- j dar City addressed the Student Body in chapel last Tuesday. The subject sub-ject of his discourse was, "What an Individual is in High School and College, so he will be in After Life." We realize that it was a timely talk. Mr. R. D. Adaais, a Richfield pho-'tographer pho-'tographer is here taking pictures for our 1917 "Agricula." We trust that all will go well so that we can get the year book out at an earlier date this year than last. The various classes are , assigned special days to go to the photographer's studio so that the work will be accomplished accomplish-ed more systematically. Under the auspices of the B. A. C. faculty a night 3chool has been established es-tablished in the institution since January 16. It is held two nights each week, Tuesday and Saturday. Both old and young are admitted and courses are given- in all subjects for which six register. There are about thirty students at present, who show, a great deal of interest. As a feature of the night school program, Ben R. Elderidge gave a lecture on "Butter Making in the Home," in the B. A. C. auditorium Saturday night. After the lecture a free dance was given the married folks, so you see. very few of the Btudents were admitted. Those dreaded semester examinations examin-ations approach nearer and nearer, but as soon as they are things of the past we will have some spring ones to look forward to. A number of the faculty members are not intending intend-ing to take advantage of the ninety per cent exemption rule, but desire "to put their students to the test." LUCY ESPLIN. |
