Show SENDS RABID CpYOTE HEAD J. H. Haycock, a sheep owner, was in Milford yesterday with the head of a coyote which he shipped to the State University for examination for rabies. Mr. Haycock was caring car-ing for a bunch of sheep in the Dead Horse Hills a few mornings since, when the mad coyote rushed through the band of sheep snapping snap-ping at them and attacking his dog. Standing within six feet of the. ugly brute Mr. Haycock shot and killed the animal. He is certain from the actions of the coyote that it was afflicted with rabies. He has now to keep his faithful dog muzzled for fear the dreaded disease may develop. |
