Show GERMANY AFTER THE WAR GERMANY'S Minister of Finance says that "after the war" that nation na-tion "will export and import little." While there is not a great deal of sentiment senti-ment in trade we do not believe that .the "Made in Germany" mark will be as popular after the war as it used to be. In the first place the nations are finding-out finding-out especially this nation that we can live very comfortably without the "Made in Germany" mark on anything we really need. Germany wilfully threw away the confidence of nations and her commercial prestige when she invaded little Belgium. Then.too, the kaiser's terming of a solemn obligation a "mere scrap of paper" doe's not tend to improve im-prove his credit or increase the desirability desira-bility of establishing business relations with his country. |
