Show REAVER COPPER REPORTS STRIKE From Beaver county comes the information in-formation that the miners- working in the Beaver Copper have made what appears to be a rich strike on ' the 200 level. The report is that the ore vein is two to three feet wide. The core of it shows five ounces of silver ore that assays as high as 1000 ounces of silver to the ton. At the present high prices, the silver content con-tent alone would be worth more than $960 a ton. The Beaver - Copper is controlled by Lewis Merriman, Andrew May-berry May-berry and a number of Tintic mining men and Salt Lakers. In the same vicinity is the old Galena Ga-lena mine which is credited with producing pro-ducing ore that sampled 1200 ounces silver to the ton. The Beaver Lake Metals, the Copper Mountain and Black Rock company are all active. This district is located about a dozen miles northwest from Milford. |
