Show EDITORS VISIT ZI0N CANYON Members of the Utah Press Assn. to the number of seventeen visited Zion Canyon August 25 and 26 and had a jolly time besides attending to business. They were royally treated at Milford, where they were the guests of the Business Men's Asso., and at Cedar City, where they were the guests of Editor Wilkinson of the Iron County Record and of the Cedar City Commercial Club. The Iron County Record, The Beaver County News, The Millard County Chronicle and other papers whose editors were members of the party have two and three column articles in their papers descriptive of the trip, the glorious beauty of Zion Canyon, the whole-souled hospitable manner in which they were treated by Mr. Wylie and his aids at th6 Wylie Way Camp in the canyon, etc. Judging by the way the press boys write, they must 'have had the time of their lives. We regret that we were not with the party. We were led to believe by printed articles that the proposed excursion would fail to materialize. Washington County News. |
