Show SCHOOL OUTLOOK IS OPTIMISTIC THE appearance of the school pupils and high school students upon the streets gives a lively interest in this suspended but all important activity education and training. There is every indication that this will be one of the best years in the history of the local schools. Mr. Wells, the principal of the high school, is pleased with the outlook. He states though, to the News, that he does not believe that some of the courses available to pupils have been sufficiently advertised. Notably- the shorthand course. There is an opportunity oppor-tunity for local young people to take a course in this very useful branch. It is possible that if you are working at something else that you could so arrange ar-range your work that you could get off for the hour required for shorthand instruction in-struction and practice. . Success is for those who grasp the opportunities at hand. It eludes many who sit around and wait for some one to push them into in-to a soft job for which they are not equipped. n |
