Show . R, H. BARTON FOR STATE TREASURER Beaver Man to be Boosted For Nomination R. H. Barton, cashier of the Firs! National Bank of Beaver, is to be a candidate before the State Republican convention, for the nomination o'f State Treasurer. Mr. Barton is eminently emin-ently fitted for the important position both by natural ability and by education, edu-cation, as well as by wide experience as a financier. It is due Southern Utah that this section of the Stale he-represented he-represented at the State capital. Only once has Southern Utah had a State Officer and Beaver county has never eves asked for one, so th? t this courtesy court-esy is due us. A "lining up" of delegates from the ! southern counties seems 10 show that Mr. Barton will. go before the convention conven-tion with a strong and united delegation delega-tion back of him, und if he is not gi von j the nomination, it will not, be because of a lack of hard and enthusias lie work Jon the part of his friends. |
