Jacobs of Salt Lake were Sunday visitors in Milford, attending to mining business. Clarence Cline, the local real estate man, returned from California this week, after a few days in the land ot sunshine. Jay McAllister, son of J. W. Mc Allister, the well-known local barber, is visiting with his grandparents in Montana. Mrs. Arvilla Mayberry arrived Wednesday Wed-nesday from Cleveland, Ohio, and after attending to some business affairs here, expects to return east. Rev. Allison, who is summering in Beaver, spent Sunday in Milford, conducting con-ducting the morrning services in the M. E. church. Under the efficient hands of Contractor Con-tractor Lewison, M, P. Lewis's new dwelling in the Lewis Addition is progressing raidly. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Hodges of Beaver, spent Wednesday in Milford ; the former is one of Beaver's delegates dele-gates to the Republican State convention. con-vention. A large force of men aud teams is at work clearing and repairing the Beaver County Irrigation Company's ditches and canals, damaged by the recent cloudburst on the Project. .Messrs. Larue, Vivian and Press Dullin of this city, and Del Duflin of Provo, were called to Parowan, this week, their mother being so seriously ill that chances of recovery are said to be sight. A merry party, consisting of Mr. and Mrs. Tribole, G. Larscn and Misses Mary and Nora Roper, ''cranked up'' a big camp wagon, Tuesday morning and started for the mountains above Beaver, for a two weeks' camping trip. "Editor News, Milford, Utah. Mrs. L. E. Hicks of Milford, vas a recent visitor at the big exhibit of Southern California products maintained main-tained free to the public in the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. She also attended the lectures, moving pictures and concert that are a part of the daily program. The exhibit is the largest of any in the country maintained main-tained by a commercial organization. Mrs. Hicks expects to visit the Pauama-Pacific Exposition at San Diego which will remain open all year." Noise Schow and family removed a few days ago, to their new home in Enterprise, where they will try the farming business. The trip was made by wagon. An important item of interest, crowded out of last week's issue by lack of space, was the marriage of Mr. Herman Bradlield, of the Milford-Beavsr Milford-Beavsr Auto Company and Miss Hosena Fowler of Parowan. The ceromony took place at the home of the groom in Milford on the 24th ult. aud many relatives and friends were present to wish the young couple health1, wealth and happiness, in which the NEWS joins.
