Show Cedar Talisman to Install Plant In last week's issue of the NEWS, mention was made that the Cedar Talisman management was figuring on some method of handling their output more economically, All arrangement! have now been made, according to Manager H. S. Joseph, in an interview with th Herald-Republican, Herald-Republican, for the installation of a fifty-ton mill. "We are shipping considerable con-siderable lead ore now from the Cedar-Talisman," Cedar-Talisman," remarked Mr. Joeeph. "The mine is improving all the time and the recent surface improvements have added greatly to the appearance of the place. We figure that we can make at least 75 per cent recoveries of the lead values in the big deposits in the mine and in the dumps. We estimate the tonnage at 50,000 tons. Judging from the various samplings, the whole hill should carry 8 per cent lead, 7 ounces silver and 14 per cent zinc. We expect to make the zinc a by-product of the mill, giving the lead and silver first attention. o |
