Major Coons, day engine caller, reported sick Wednesday morning, causing Sergeant Smith to do double shift. A couple of gentlemen of Milford, learning of the serious accident that befell little Georgia Davis some few days ago, made inquiry if they might be of any assistance. They were informed in-formed what migght be done to please the little suffering girl and behold, be-hold, it was done quietly. The mother moth-er extends her sincere thanks to the gentlemen. Chas. Tullis, our day yardmaster who is on leave of absence and who is now visiting with friends in Peoria, advises that there are two feet of snow on the level there and that it is almost impossible to get around. Tumnskirio, had struck him on the beanery with a four-pound wrench (felt like one weighing about four hundred). Help was asked for from the sheriff, chief ,of police and the fire department. We immediately got in touch with Deputy Sheriff Hedges. He in turn Ot in touch with the Chief of Police Mathews who proceeded to the round house in his high power car. Upon his arrival there he found Tumnskirio Tumnski-rio in bed resting peacefully. This aint no word a lie. Lynndyl Items Slim Burrows who has been spending spend-ing a month in California, has returned re-turned and is again behind the counter coun-ter at the beanery. G. W. Morton, who has been working work-ing first trick, has accepted the agency at South Ivanpah and left for that place Monday on No. 1. A. O. Cornell is working'first trick Doc. Murray second and J. A.
