Show TIME TO BE ALERT TO DANGER SOME good people are skeptical about the matter of the German spy system, the traitorous work of German sympathizers, sympa-thizers, and the plotting and intrigue of German agents in the United States. The simultaneous explosions destroying powder pow-der magazines and store houses of Government Gov-ernment supplies should have a tendency to make such unsuspecting souls see the danger. It is a time when we must be ever alert. No innocent person should be needlessly harassed; neither should any suspected person go unwatched. After the "accident" it is too late to make amends even though the guilty be found and punished. Conservation demands timely protection and surveillance, as well as economy. |
