Show Mrs. C. W. Thomas has accepted a position as clerk in the post office. Mrs. J. Duncan returned Tuesday night of last week, from a visit with 'relatives in Salt Lake. J. H. Fife, Ernest Fife, Martin Walker, Dick Leigh, E. M. Macfar-lane Macfar-lane all of Cedar City, were here Saturday. Miss Myrtle Woolsey and Miss Ethel Eth-el Ashworth, of Beaver, visited a few days the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Moore. J. L. Hunn, the prominent cattle man of Glenwood Springs, Colo., was a busy man in Milford for the past week. C. F. Johnson, a prominent Salt Lake business man was here on business busi-ness matters connected with Myron Lewis. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Pearson moved Saturday into the Carlson property, which has just been vacated by Tommy Tom-my Himstreet. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Thompson of Beaver,-are visiting Mrs. Thompson's brother, James Atkin and family. J. R. White, who has recently purchased pur-chased the Ches. Barton residence, on North McKeon street, has moved his family from the Montreal mine to their new home this week. Mrs. M O. Hardy is having a niv roof put cn her rooming house Mid otherwise .mproving her property on Main street. A Woodhouse, manager of the Dixie Dix-ie Power company of St. George, was here on business last Wednesday. Wednes-day. Mr, Woodhouse was formerly manager of the power company here. Walter Lunt, of C.edar City spent several days in this vicinity of late, in the interest of the Singer Sewing machine company. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Barton and son, Cullen. of Beaver, were guests of the Ezra Barton home Saturday evening.
