I All the new things in Valentine cards and cut-outs at Palmers. i Later word has been received I from Mr. and Mrs. Alex Goodwin, stating that they met with an accident acci-dent about thirty-five miles this side of their destination, in which their car was overturned and rolled down an embankment, but fortunate ly they escaped with a few slight scratches and bruises. However it cost them a considerable sum to repair re-pair the damages to their car. Mrs. Harvey Hedges is in town, from Lynndyl, visiting a few days with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Allen Hedges. Mrs. John Perkins from the Project, Pro-ject, was in town Thursday afternoon after-noon to attend the War mothers meeting. Mrs. Perkins says she has had no word from her son Sydney Syd-ney Thayer since the last of October. Oct-ober. He- was then back from the front at a rest camp, but expected to leave soon for the front. She is ooking anxiously for some word. The Home Service of the Red Cross is trying to locate him. -t j |
