Show PALOMA EXTENSION IS SHAPING UP AFFAIRS Affairs of the Paloma Extension Mining Company were shaped up when W. H.O'Byrne signed a quit claim deed to the company for nine claims located on the south of the Hoosier Boy property in Beaver county and east of Paloma. This gives the company something like 12 to 16 claims. It is reported that Willard Scowcroft of Ogden recently recent-ly purchased Mr. O'Byrne's interest ln the Extension. The company has 400,000 shares issued of the 1,000,-000 1,000,-000 shares in the organization. The control now lies with three men. The following is given as their Individual Indi-vidual holdings: Mr. Scowcroft, 2.10,-000 2.10,-000 shares; L. P. Palmer, 143,000, and Leon Hall, 115,000. There is a shaft on the property a short distance south of the 800 foot shaft on the Hoosier Boy mine. As soon as a re-organization of the company is effected, which will be Boon and the weather is favorable, it is expected to resume work. It is said there were only 2000 shares delinquent on the 1-5 assessment on sale day, last Tuesday. |
