Show SOUTH MILFORD By MRS. CARL ELMER Phone 63-J-l The South Milford 4-H Club girls had their meeting Thursday, June 20. Officers were chosen during the afternoon, with Barbara Walker Walk-er named president, Marjorie Walker, vice president; Helen Stahl, sec.-treas.; Donna Hansen, song leader, and Deon Lofthouse, reporter. Other members of the group are Betty Stewart, Colleen Hansen, Margene Lofthouse, Jeanette Gil-lins, Gil-lins, Gail Tolly, Donna Tolly, La Nae Davis, Nona Wright, Cleapha Anderson and Yvonne McKnight. Mrs. Joan McKnight is the young 4-H leader, who is liked v :ry well by the girls. Lunch was served during the afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight had as their dinner guests last Friday Mrs. McKnight's aunt, Mrs. Eliza Roberts of Lyman, Wyo and Mrs. Eliza Scott of Bennson, Ariz. Mrs. Helen Gillins went to Min-ersville Min-ersville Monday afternoon to attend at-tend a bridal shower given for Mrs. Sherwin Wood. Mrs. Julia Boyle of Los Angeles is visiting her sister, Mrs. Jim Rollins. Rol-lins. Mrs. Carling of Victorville, Calif, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Jenny Bowen. She left Saturday, taking her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Watts, to their home in Kanosh. where they will stay for a while. Mrs. Ester Rollins has her father, fath-er, Mr. Jack Barten. visiting her for a few weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Fisher of California Cal-ifornia arrived Monday afternoon for a visit with Roy's folks. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Fisher, and ! brother. Mrs. Doyle Sly is home from the hospital with her new baby. Nora Ann Wright went to St. Cleorge Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wright had a family dinner at their home Sunday. Sun-day. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Martirt Sherwood and daughters daugh-ters Hazel and Donna, of Miners-ville: Miners-ville: Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Bcebe of San Francisco, and Mr. and Mrs. James Meeks of Richmond, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sherwood ; and family. It was the first time ; in two years the family had all 1 been together. . ' i |
