Show SOFTBALL RESUMES AFTEP. RACING The Milford Softball League resumed re-sumed play last Monday, after "a brief vacatiop during the race meet. Second half play will continue con-tinue until the first week in September. Sep-tember. On Wednesday night, Telluride started their second half play with a win over the Stewart-Dunn ladies, 10-7, to move back into the leaders spot, which they held all through the first half, only to be downed in a play-off with Whit-becks. Whit-becks. Minersville failed to appear for their scheduled game with the Milford Mil-ford News. A "pick-up" team of Penney-Sportsmen players downed the Newsboys 18-7 in an exhibition. On Friday, July 5, the 7:30 game matches the Sportsmen's Club with the Railroaders, and the Why-not vs. Telluride game wlil be played at 8:3C. On Monday, July 8, Stewart-Dunn Stewart-Dunn meets Sam's Appliance at 7:30, with Penney's and the Newsboys News-boys playing in the nightcap.
