Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pryor are here for a visit over the Fourth of July. Mrs. Maurine Lake and baby are visiting here from Caliente, New Miss LaRue McGinty has successfully suc-cessfully recuperated from an appendicitis ap-pendicitis operation which she underwent in the Milford hospital recently. Mrs. Daisel Davis was taken to the Cedar City hospital Saturday, where she is receiving medical attention. at-tention. Mrs. Vern Rollins, who has been ill in the L. D. S. hospital in Salt Lake, has been released and is convalescing at the home of her son, Frank Rollins of that city. Mrs. Stanley McKnight entertained enter-tained Monday afternoon at a shower for Mrs. Pauline Wood, a recent bride. Those present were Vivian Marshall, Freida Wood, Myrle Bradfield, Racel Eyre, Ber-nice Ber-nice Gillins, Helen Gillins, Gladys Myers and the guest of honor. During the afternoon a brides book was made by those present after which luncheon was served and gifts presented to the bride. Th7Fourth of July celebration, planned by the committee meeting at the home of Truman Bradfield last week, will include games, races and entertainment for young and old. ' Mr I N Nolder, well-known former for-mer Minersville merchant, returned re-turned on Wednesday from an extended ex-tended visit with relatives m California and Pennsylvania. |
