Show Independence Day Plans Complete G. S. Frazier, general chairman for Milford's "Frontier Days" In-! In-! dependence Day celebration, has plans for the big event pretty well I lined up and all the youngsters of the community fully primed for a celebration that is being planned principally for the younger generation. gener-ation. I The parade will be on the march at 10 o'clock and the public is re- minded that there are to be no automobiles au-tomobiles in the parade nor on Main street during that time. I From 11 to 11:30 o'clock there will be given a brief and snappy i program at the bank intersection. From 11:30 to 1 o'clook kids' races will be the order of the day I on the parked area in front of the new library with prizes of some J kind for all participants. j Fm 1 to 2 o'clock there will be given a free picture show for all children under 16 years of age. i From 2 to 3 o'clock there will be; swimming at the municipal pool. From 3:30 to 5:30 there will be; horse races at the fair grounds, this also being free for children though a small charge sufficient, to cover prize money, will have to. be charged for adults. j From 6 to 7 o'clock there will be the free children's dance in the 1 Arion hall, which will pretty wellj close the day's events for thei youngsters, though there will still remain the big dance for adults at night. j A quantity of fireworks has . been purchased by the committee' and most of these will be fired at such times during the day when they will best add to the general holiday atmosphere, while A'l Kirk states that lie has got lined up a band that will not only furnish music but considerable "color" for the celebration.
