Show A PROCLAMATION FUR BEARERS WHEREAS, after due investigation investi-gation it is deemed advisable to close the season to the trapping of all furbearing animals except muskrats during the regular spring furbearer trapping season as prescribed by law. NOW THEREFORE, we the Utah State Fish and Game Commission, Com-mission, under authority of Section Sec-tion 30-0-7 and 30-0-8 Utah Code Annotated 1943, do hereby proclaim pro-claim and declare that the season shall be closed to the trapping of all furbearing animals except muskrat for the spring trapping season February 15 through April 1, 1944, as specified in Section 30-0-49 Utah Code Annotated 1943. CLOSED AREAS: PROVIDED FUJRTHER, that it shall be unlawful to trap for any furbearing animals on the state-owned state-owned property known as Locomotive Locomo-tive Springs in Boxelder County; Clear Lake in Millard County; Ogden Bay in Weber County; Stewart Lake in Uintah County; Farmington Bay in DaWs County; and the Bullock Sloughs in Utah County, as marked and posted on the ground, and also it shall be unlawful un-lawful to trap muskrats in Wasatch Wa-satch County, and in any of the open drains of the Benjamin drainage drain-age district in the Benjamin Precinct Pre-cinct of Utah County, and on or within 500 feet of the shore line as defined by the present water level of Utah Lake in Utah County. Coun-ty. It is provided by statute that the above rules and regulations shall have full force and effect of law.
