Show Utah Registrants Rank High In Physical Tests Based on percentage of rejections rejec-tions under selective service regulations, regula-tions, Utah is shown to rank third in physical perfection and health, according to statistics just released re-leased and covering the six month period from February to August of 1943. Oregon is shown to have the lowest percentage of rejections (24.4) for that period, with Kansas and Utah ranking next with 25.4 and 26.1 percent, respectively. Washington, Wyoming, Idaho and Connecticut follow in that order, with Nevada (32.9) and California (35.6) farther down the list. The national average is shown to be 39.2 percent rejections. States ranking below that figure are all southern states with the exception of Colorado (43.1). District of Col-lumbia Col-lumbia (4-5.4) and Vermont (45.7). South and North Carolina are at the very bottom of the list, with 55.9 and 56.S, respectively.
