Dear Mr. Williams: To expedite receiving of The News, which is the only way 1 have in keeping track of "you all", I am sending you my new address. I am receiving letters regularly others in Milford but they can't from my parents and several hope to relay all of the news that The News does. The letters in the "With the Colors" section of our town paper are naturally of great interest to me and I eagerly await each copy of The News to see what my "fellows in arms", are doing and where they are. As yet, I haven't had the good fortune for-tune to meet any of the boys, but I can't help hoping. Everything is going well with me and I hope that it won't be too. long before all of us Milfordiltes can be home again. My new job is a very agreeable but responsible position. I am working in base headquarters as assistant sergeant major. Sure is a lot of difference between this and the days I used to deliver groceries. May this lettter find you all in good health and happiness. Best wishes from, GORDON . |
