Show Auxiliary Wakes Plea For Bonds, Stamps Sale '"A Stamp a day for the man who's away!" This is the slogan for March sales of bond and stamps. The American Legion Auxiliary will sell stamps and bonds March 11 and 2G at their booths at J. C. Penny Company, the White Market Mar-ket and the Jefferson Mercantile Compnay. Mrs. O. A. Wiesley, state chairman chair-man of the women's division says, "Listen, women of Utah! Think for a moment how you will feel when the men tome home from war if you have to say, 'I was too ftmsy, too selfish to save for you and our children and our homes; I failed to do my part.' We have all been tnug'ht to save for a rainy (lay. That rainy day is here. We must encourage saving's now to save our freedom and our future. The cooperation of every woman in Utah is urged in this, the most important of our war activities. TTone of us are doing so much we can't do more. So, huy a stamp a day for the man who's away!" r |
