Show Gold, Green Ball Successful Affair The 1935 Gold and Green ball, staged Friday night of last week in the L. D. S. Recreation hall under un-der the sponsorship of the Milford Mutual Improvement associations, will go down as another social and financial success, not to mention the good time enjoyed by all who attended. The beautiful decorations decora-tions added no little to the colorful event. Miss Maxine Kirk was queen of the ball, duly elected by vote of those attending, and Masters Ray Bond and Gordon Jensen acted as pages for her. Her entrance was made following the dancing of a Minuet by Misses Peggy Blackburn, Black-burn, Margaret Peterson, Gladys Martin, Marie Gillies, Naomi Yi-ther Yi-ther and Margaret Jones, who gave an admirable performance of this exquisite dance after a short but intensive period of training in the capable hands of Mrs. George Jefferson. Dancing of the Waltz Quadrille and Lancers was by the following couples: Rudolph Nielsen and Mrs. Mel Heslington, D. N. Hickman and , Mrs. E. H. Bird, E. H. Bird and Mrs. Rigby Young, D. A. Tanner Tan-ner and Mrs. Ivan McKnight, Mr. and Mrs. Clint Bond, William Bond and Mrs. William Frazier, Mr. and Mrs. James Patterson, Reuben Jones and Miss Bernella Jones. |
