Show Hinckley Quintet Plays Saturday Somewhat battle-scarred from two defeats at the hands of Hinckley Hinck-ley and Delta on Milford's road trip Friday and Saturday of last j week, but with some new ideas of better-working formations that j should lead to better showings on the part of the Milford lioopsters, the local team meets the Hinckley quintet on the Milford floor Saturday Satur-day night in the second home game of the league series. The road trip, while not productive produc-tive of any victories, gave Coach j Osborne an opportunity to try out different combinations in an effort j to create one that would make up for the loss of the flashy Bill (Nichols in the forward position; and "Skinny" Fisher, playing ; brilliantly as substitute center, was one of the results, with young Fisher, the highest scorer for Milford Mil-ford in both encounters, making 6 I points, or a third of the score, against Delta Friday and 4 points against Hinckley Saturday. But 'all the boys did fine and put up j some good fights against heavy odds. I Turn out and give the lads a boost, it meanns a lot to them. |
