Show CHRISTIANSPENCE "Sacrament" da (the subject of the Christian Science Lesson-Ser' mon on Sunday, July 11, and included in-cluded is this Biblical citation: "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion com-munion of the body of Christ?" I (I Corinthians 10:16). The following correlative passage pas-sage from "Science and Health With Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy also form a part of this Lesson-Sermon: "Our Heavenly Father, divine Love, demands that all men should follow the example of our Master and his apostles and not merely worsrip his personality. It is sad that the phrase divine service has come so 'generally to mean public worship his personality. It is sad Like our Master we must depart from material sense into the spiritual sense of being" (p. 40). Tr |
