Show Successful Year ByMilford P.-T.A. The Milford Parent-Teachers association Monday evening, April 23, held the last meeting of the 1944-45 association year. At this meeting, the following officers i were elected and installed by Mrs. Harold Cline, installing officer: President, Mrs, Sylvia Munk; first vice president, Mrs. David Reese; second vice president, Principal Kenneth C. Farrer; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. M. E. Handley. As an enjoyable part of the meeting, Principal Farrer played a violin solo, "America the Beautiful,' Beauti-ful,' and Lenora Bowen gave a short talk. Mrs. Clyde Griffiths read the treasurer's final report for the year, showing that the asr sociation began activities in September Sep-tember with a balance on hand of $10.22 and closed the books with a balance of $17.48. Thus a successful suc-cessful year under the leadership of Mrs. William Ashworth, president, presi-dent, come to a conclusion with 194 members enrolled, the largest membership in the history of the Milford P.-T.A. v |
