Show SOUTHMILFORD Mrs. Leonard Bowen made a trip to Kanosh last week. Her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Watts, accompanied her home for an indefinite stay. Art Myers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Obra Myers, is located at Camp Maxey, Texas, training for the infantry. t Bruce White of Los Angeles spent last week at the home of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins. John Stahl, Gene and Barrett White and a Mr. Puffer left last week for Salmon, Idaho, to look over the country. Mr. and Mrs. C. Ahlstrom and two children, formerly of Cedar City but now living in Spokane, Washington, were visitors at the Ivan McKnight home Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Glen McKnight of Minersville, parents of Mrs. Ahlstrom, Ahl-strom, also were at the McKnight home. Mrs. Roldo Turner visited with her sister, Mrs. Elmer Johnson of Adamsville. Mrs. Johnson just recently underwent an operation. The Community Club members . were entertained last Saturday night by Mrs. Ivan McKnight. Ray, Paul and Stanford Mathews returned to their home in Antimony Anti-mony last Friday, after spending the past month at the Lee Baker home. They are brothers of Mrs. Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight received re-ceived word Tuesday of the marriage mar-riage of their son, Ph. M. 3 c Jesse McKnight, and Miss Joan Schwat-ka Schwat-ka of San Francisco on July 9 at a church wedding in San Francisco. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Warme and . small son of Los Angeles arrived last Friday afternoon at the Carl Elmer home. Mrs. Don Elmer is ; a sister to Mr. Warme, while Mrs. Warme is the former Adele Kinney, Kin-ney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe' Kinney, former Milfordites. While here they enjoyed a three-day fishing trip to Puffers lake, accompanied ac-companied by Mr. and Mrs. Don Elmer, Mr. and Mrs. Gael Elmer and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elmer, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ferguson of Beaver. Mrs. Clair Gillins entertained Monday night at a birthday party, honoring her husband. The guests included his father, Henry Gillins, and his brothers, Mac, Reid and Bob, with their wives, from town; Jule and wife from Minersville, and sister, Mrs. Floren Bingham, and her husband, from town.
