Show Mrs. Delxing Banks of Lynndyl . is visiting at the home of her sib-' tcr, Mrs. A. T. Miller. Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd F. Kohler and children visited in Zions park during the week-end. Miss Betty Lyman, popular local telephone operator, left Thursday of last week to spend her two veeks vacation with relatives and friends in Mayfield. Mrs. V. Waddoups and daughters, daugh-ters, Lola and Angle, left Monday for Salt Lake City, where Angie may undergo a ' long period of treatment for a foot ailment. Mrs. Dick Jones returned home Sunday from Cedar City, having been called there on account of an accident that happened to a young grandson, who was taken to the Cedar City hospital for treatment. Miss La Dawne Muncey returned return-ed Wednesday from a three weeks visit in Idaho, part of the time with relatives at Idaho Falls and a week at Mack's Inn, famous Idaho Ida-ho fishing resort, with a trip through Yellowstone park for good measure. Mrs. Charles Jeppson and two children of American Fork are visiting here at the home of Mrs. Teppson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Thompson, and also with other relatives and friends. Mrs. Jeppson is the former Thelma Hiompson of Milford. The July meeting of the Milford Wlildlife Protective association will le held at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening of next week (July 18) at Lhe town office. There will be some important matters to be discussed dis-cussed and reports given, so a ?ood turnout is urged. Mrs. Royal Y. Swapp and three ions returned Monday to their home in Kanab following a .visit f some four weeks at the home of :he former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David S. Williams. Mr. Swapp joined them here Friday night for :he last two days of their visit. Mrs. LaMar Outzen returned home Tuesday from Salt Lake City, having taken her daughter, Mary Lamar, to that place. The hitter will take a summer course in violin instruction at the McCune School of Music, under the supervision super-vision of Mrs. Aurelia Shimer. The second meeting of the Cozy Clover 4-H club was held last week ac the home of Patsy Evans, much of the time being devoted to our coming trip on the mountains. We shall go on Thursday and make our camp at Kents lake. Those present at the meeting were: Lois Atkin, LaRue Atkin, Geniel Tanner, Tan-ner, Betty Williams, Cherie Ash-woith, Ash-woith, Donna Muir, Patsy Evans, Koma Jean Myers, Betty Sue Hickman and our teacher, Mrs. Irene Griffiths. The priaes at bridge were awarded to Mrs. James for high points and Mrs. Holm for high honors. Mr. and Mrs. w:unam Morns and granddaughter, Shirleen Gil-lins, Gil-lins, returned home Friday of last week from a visit in southern California. Cali-fornia. Mrs. Morris went to Los Angeles in June to be with her daughter, Mrs. Clyde Tanner, to whom a fine baby boy was born June 15. Mr. Morris and Miss Shirleen motored to California Califor-nia some two weeks ago and all returned home Friday. While in California the Morrises had the good fortune, every week-end, to see their son LaMarr, who is in the navy and stationed at San Diego. L. G. Cowan, a native of Iowa and a nephew of Mrs. Vena Wilson, spent the fore part of the week visiting with her and enjoying a few days of rest. Making his home for several years in Twin Falls, Idaho, home town of his wife, Mt. Cowan, a fine type fellow with plenty of personality, has been employed em-ployed on Twin Falls and other newspapers as linotype operator and machinist, working a few days on the Salt Lake Tribune before coming to Milford. He came to Salt Lake City for a medical checkup. An advisory board election for the sheep and cattle board members mem-bers representing precinct 4 of Pahvant district No. 3 is to be held Monday, July Hi at Mt. Pleasant, Deserec, Fillmore ' and Beaver. Precinct 4 includes the Ibex, Destret and Crickett units of the district. Mrs. Gene Kirk entertained members mem-bers of her bridge club and guests Thursday evening of last week. Those present were Mrs. George Moore, Mis. J. H. Weston, Mrs. .R. J. Magill, Mrs. J. R. Murdock, Mrs. David S. Williams, Mrs. J. C. Smith and Mrs. Ross Palmer. The high points prize was received by Mrs. Moore and the high honors prize by Mrs. Kirk, while Mrs. Palmer received the consolation prize. V |
