Show Lions Elect Guff District Governor At Boise Confab Members of Lions clubs from all parts of Utah and Idaho, concluding conclud-ing a two-day district convention at Boise last Saturday, selected Cedar City for the 1938 conclave after hearing D. A. Skeen of Salt Lake City, International Lions director, di-rector, say: "The ordinary conception of government has been protection of property and life but there has been little emphasis on the responsibility respon-sibility of society to those crushed by selfish practices. We must make service to humanity the basis of government." W. O. Cluff of Richfield and Winfield E. Cline of Boise were named district governors for Utah and Idaho, respectively. Other officers are: Jim Clove Murray, district tail twister; David Tate, Boise, Idaho, district lion tamer, and Harold Peterson, Logan i district song leader. |
