Show LOOKING BACKWARD 'terns of Interest from the Files of The News of Fifteen Years Ago This Week. Tiic first printed issue of the Tiger Tattler, high school bimonthly bi-monthly newspaper, will be pub-' pub-' 'UhtJ Monday, January 20, 1931, according to the plans of the offi-i offi-i cers of Milford High school student stu-dent body of the staff of the paper. Arrangements have been made with The Milford News to print '.he paper, 200 copies of which will c distributed among the students and patrons of the high school. A reorganized staff is handling the business and editorial work of putting out the paper. It consists of: Melba Hodges, editor in chief; Helen Kinney, copy editor; Charles Clements, utility editor; Leah Thompson and Melvin Bowman, society; Virginia Killam and Lawrence Law-rence Easton, humor; Ferrin Fra-zier, Fra-zier, Sherman Hickman and Claude Horton, sports; Ellen Ford and Sarah Pool, art. Business manager man-ager is Robert Killam, with Jayne Sloan, Beth Coleman and Helen Bird, assistants. Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Stanley of Heber City are visiting Mrs. Stanley's Stan-ley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. i Sloan of Milford. j Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hodges motored to Salt Lake City for a week-end visit. Two babies were born in Milford !ast week. To Mr. and Mrs. LaVar corhees was born a girl, Tuesday norning, and to Mr. and Mrs. V. N. Jones a boy, Saturday night. Mrs. W. H. Hendriekson enter-ained enter-ained the Monday Night Bridge lub at her home Monday after- noon. There were two tables of ridge, and refreshments were :erved to Mesdames Tanner, Wil-ims. Wil-ims. Sloan, Fortie, Levi, Kelly md Cochrain. Mrs. Tanner won prize for joints, while Mrs. Williams was nvarded prize for honors. Mrs. Xelly and Mrs. Cochrain were twarded guest prizes. |
