F. hall, the following- officers were installed: Mabel Coleman, noble grand; Selma Carlson, vice noible grand j Isabelle Neuhart, secre-! tary; Hortense Hardy, treasurer;! Sadie Litchfield, chaplain; Ida i Crawford, warden; La Priell Clem-1 ents, conductor; Hortense Hardy, 1 R. S. to noble grand; Bertlia .Sherwood, .Sher-wood, L. S. to noble :grand; Mar-, tha Armstrong, R. S. to vice noble grand; and Mrs. H. M. Jennings,' L. S. to vice noble grand. Mrs. J. R. Murdock jr. had been initiated into the Victory Rebekah degree. A farewell reception had been given Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Hanks, wlio were leaving for southern California to make their home. Mr. Hanks had disposed of his hotel property to Los Angeles parties and O. F. Hulbbell had purchased pur-chased the drug store corner. The committee in charge of the party was Mrs. Anna J. Atkin, Mrs. James Glenn, Mrs. Oharles Moore and Mrs. Lulu Peterson. A delightful evening had been spent by the Ptimos club at the home of Mrs. Joe Smith. "500" was played with Mrs. Gene Kirk and Mrs. Clinton Meyers winning high score prizes and Mrs. Ralph Quayle and Mrs. Des Hickman low score prizes. Miss Ardath Johnson had chaperoned chap-eroned ten girls on a trip to Minersville canyon. They had gone early enough to partake of an early morning dip in the river, followed fol-lowed by a breakfast. The remainder re-mainder of the day was spent in games, hikes and bathing. Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Fournier had gone to the coast, where Mrs. Fournier had visited relatives at Hollywood and Mr. Fournier had gone to San Francisco to attend reserve officers training camp. Mr. Fournier was a lieutenant in the coast artillery reserve corps. ! Roy Cottrell, who had been in the employment of the railroad for years, had been promoted to car foreman and transferred to Lynn-dyl Lynn-dyl Mrs. Cottrell joined him there to make their future home. Mrs. Edith Farnlow of Salt Lake, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Osborn, was contemplating making her home here. 1T |
