Show Funeral Is Held For WV. Cook Funeral services were held Tuesday Tues-day afternoon in the Milford L- D. S. chapel for W. W. Cook, 61, prominent farmer and stockman of South Milford, who passed away Saturday afternoon, June 16, following fol-lowing three years and ten months illness with paralysis. The service was held in the L. D. S. chapel in order better to accomodate the large number of friends of the deceased. de-ceased. The Reverend William Frary of Eureka, Methodist minister at that place, conducted the service and musical numbers included vocal solos by Mrs. Lee Gray of Cedar City and Dan Ferguson of Milford and quartet numbers by Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Martin and Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Casterline. Burial took place in the local cemetery. The funeral was one of the largest larg-est held in Milford and the floral offerings were beautiful and profuse. pro-fuse. William Walter Cook was born at Blue Rapids, Kansas, October 30, 1973. He married Gertrude Finchan of the same place September Septem-ber 11, 1895. They came to Milford Mil-ford in 1914, after a period of residence in Imperial valley, California; Cali-fornia; making their home here since that time. In addition to his widow, Mr. Cook is survived by three sons and daughters: Jess, Walter, Howard ' and Mrs- Roy Cottrell of Milford, and Mrs. Ray Snyder of Huntington Hunting-ton Park, California; also four ! brothers: Jess, Harry and Charles j of Long Beach, California, and George of Kansas. All were in at-I at-I tendance at the funeral. |
