Show Announces Music Classes Alvin H. Baker, high school music mu-sic teacher for the past two years, informs The News that he has 72 young band and orchestra students in daily attendance at section practices, which are being held ev-i ev-i ery day except Saturday and Sunday Sun-day in accordance with arrangements arrange-ments made by the school board for a free summer school of music. The classes are to be continued all through June and July, with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays, Sun-days, in accordance with the following fol-lowing schedule: 9:00-10:00 a.m. Clarinets, saxophones, sax-ophones, flutes, oboe, bassoon. 10:00-11:00 a.m. Cornets, alto horns, trumpets, baritone. 11:00-12:00 a.m. Drums, cymbals, cym-bals, basses, trombones. 1:30-2:15 p.m. Beginning violins vio-lins and other strings. 2:15-3:00 p.m. -Advanced violins vio-lins and other strings. 8:00-9:00 p.m. Band on Mondays Mon-days Wednesdays and Fridays. o |
